Hi everyone! I have always been into donating to great causes if you are able, whether it's your time, resources, or cash. I believe it is a huge part of what fuels our "humanity" & connectivity to each other, the amazing plants & animals we share our lives with & the planet as a whole. Whether you donate yearly for tax write offs, or just to help, I ask you to please consider donating to the Esther Scanner Fundraiser. The story of Esther the Wonder Pig is an amazing example of what can be achieved with love, dedication, & commitment, & the great things that can come out of it as a result. Esther has touched the lives of many, & she & her dads continue to inspire people all over the globe. When Esther became ill, she wasn't able to get the treatment she needed because it currently isn't available. With help, this can be changed. So please consider donating to this important cause.
The University of Guelph is one of the leading veterinary colleges in Ontario, Canada & surprisingly, no one in Canada has a large animal CT scanner to help in their diagnosis & veterinary care. This is a huge deal, considering the amount of moose, bison, elk & other large animals such as horses & livestock that are there as native wildlife & otherwise. These large animals which have needed veterinary care have been without the aid of one of the most important pieces of equipment in standard medical diagnostics, so the impact of being able to attain a large CT scanner would be enormous. So many animals would benefit greatly from this, & in many cases save their lives from an unnecessary euthanization. There is no minimum amount set for donations, so anything (even $1) will help them to reach their goal.
