Ornaments of Expression teams up with Golden State Greyhound Adoption! :)

It is my pleasure to announce that Ornaments of Expression has been asked to donate one of a kind jewelry creations to Golden State Greyhound Adoption's next online auction, which will be taking place from September 10, 2011 to October 1, 2011. Golden State Greyhound Adoption is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that places retired racing greyhounds in adoptive homes in Northern California. Their ex-racing greyhounds come primarily from Colorado racetracks, although they also help rescue dogs from Arizona and Mexico. When racing greyhounds are deemed no longer profitable (either because they aren’t winners or have sustained an injury) they are typically destroyed unless they are adopted. These sweet, gentle dogs adapt well to home life & make wonderful, devoted additions to your family! Consider a loving greyhound for an animal companion if you're thinking of adopting a dog! The money raised from the auction will help Golden State Greyhound Adoption pay for foster care, veterinary fees, and transportation costs to bring the dogs in from racetracks across the country. Ornaments of Expression is proud to be a part of this worthwhile cause, & will be creating new one of a kind pieces specifically for the auction. More details on the auction coming soon!
